Abstract:
The premise of Affordable Choices is that private coverage will cost less than Medicaid, allowing states to cover more uninsured people But in Indiana, the first state with an approved plan under Affordable Choices, “basic private coverage†will actually cost more than Medicaid while providing coverage that is far less comprehensive.
