Abstract:
In Jewish Population Studies 25 (Papers in Jewish Demography, 1989), 204-217. This paper will attempt to elucidate the concept of the political demography of Canadian Jews. With the help of the 1986 Canadian census, as well as other data, the demographic profile of Jews will be compared with that of other ethnic and racial grouping in Canada. Differences in these profiles, and their consequences for the successful attainment of Jewish communal objectives will be assessed.
