Abstract:
United Nations credibility is not furthered when it makes claims of success that are false. No claim is more inflated than the U.N.'s boast that it is a peacemaker. Making and keeping the peace are extraordinarily difficult, and the U.N. should not be faulted for failing where so many others have failed.
