Abstract:
The field of congregational Jewish education is attempting to change and reinvigorate itself, the authors assert. In order to analyze the cutting edge of these changes, the Lippman Kanfer Institute of the Jewish Educational Service of North America (JESNA) examined eleven organizations representing a broad range of approaches to defining the goals, content, and processes for synagogue educational change. This paper explores the goals, content and processes of change being created by these organizations.
