Abstract:
The Jewish Family Agency could be in danger of collapse if it remains resistant to modernization. The article suggests that the Jewish Family Agency is particularly resistant not only to modernization, but to accepting the fact that Jewish Family Life Education, or the services that many Jewish family agencies offer to their communities, is becoming a bigger part of Jewish culture. The author recognizes the diversity within the Jewish community and suggests that Jews from all backgrounds should establish a constant relationship with the rabbinate in order to supplement the services provided by Jewish Family Life Education.
