Abstract:
The author presents demographic information and examines migration patterns of Soviet Jews who left the Soviet Union between 1966 and 1975. He explores issues inherent to the resettlement process including adjustment, integration, job placement and Jewish identification through anecdotes which detail experiences in various communities. He concludes that resettlement efforts thus far have been successful due to the commitment of the Jewish community and of various Jewish agencies. In American Jewish Yearbook (1977).
