Abstract:
This paper reports on the findings of a Hillel International Task Force exploring significant barriers facing females in senior roles in institutions across the country. The report is part of a pilot program of Advancing Women Professionals and the Jewish Community (AWP) that seeks to examine conditions of gender inequality within the Jewish communal world. The findings highlight the difficulty female professionals have in balancing professional and personal demands. It provides recommendations to improve work-life balance issues, particularly among senior female Hillel professionals.
