Abstract:

The authors discuss the experience of their agency, Jewish Community Services of Long Island, NY, with providing group counseling to Jewish families with young women experiencing difficulties. The authors discuss the roles played by caseworkers, and the ways in which the values of parents often conflict with the values of the young women and their peers.
