Abstract:
The author announces the creation of a Young Men's and Women's Social Service Auxiliary, under the umbrella of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities. It is meant to increase participation in community work among young people, provide opportunities for fellowship, and increase the fundraising potential of the Federation. Needs and opportunities for volunteers in local organizations, such as the Hebrew Orphan Asylum, the Jewish Hospital, and Big Brother work, are announced.
