Abstract:
Blanchard discusses a 2001 Texas court decision which required sex offenders to post their criminal status on their homes and vehicles. He fears that society could devolve into more destructive markings of offenders which could result in massacre and extermination. He argues that the current legal system, although fragile, is the best hope for criminal and social justice.
